FAQs

Why should I hire an event coordinator?
Planning a wedding or special event can be an overwhelming experience, so it's very normal to be confused about where to start--- choosing a venue and vendors while still staying within the budget can certainly be a challenge, and there are a number of logistical concerns to keep in mind which are best handled by professionals, rather than leaving them to chance or tasking your guests with them. We're here to take care of all the details so that you can relax and enjoy your event!

What wedding planning services do you offer?
At this time, we can only offer day of coordination and event consultations for the Tacoma and South Sound area.

What is the difference between an event coordinator and an event planner?
Event planners use your vision and money to plan the event so you don't have to. Coordinators, on the other hand, can charge less by allowing you to do most of the planning and footwork. A coordinator will master your plans, iron out the details and be available to smooth out any wrinkles that may come up during your event.

Do you accept commissions from any vendors?

No. We will only recommend reputable vendors whose work fits your style and budget, and receive no compensation for our referrals.

Do you charge for an initial consultation?
Our initial consultation is free of charge-- we see it as an opportunity to get to know each other to ensure that we will work together successfully.

Do you have experience planning a wedding of my religious or cultural tradition?
While we are most familiar with secular, traditional or Christian ceremonies, we would welcome the opportunity to create an event that honors you and your partner's unique traditions.

Are you hiring? Do you have any internships available?

Sorry, we currently do not have the capacity to hire employees or volunteers.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and Venmo.

Do you take payments?
We generally require a 50% deposit to lock in your event date; however, we do make exceptions. Any remainder is due the day of the event.
